Dear user,

You may have heard that Google are in the process of rolling out enhanced AdWords campaigns – a change which will allow you to adjust ads and bids depending on your customers’ location, device, and time of day – all within a single campaign. If you want to read more about Google’s enhanced campaigns, you can do so here.

Whilst Google are launching the new campaigns, they have not yet made the changes to the AdWords API –which allows software such as adCore to interact with AdWords.

We have spoken to Google and they are not expecting to make that change for at least 2 weeks.

As soon as Google release their improved API, our team of technical experts will begin working to implement the changes in adCore as quickly as possible.

Until then, we recommend that you DO NOT activate enhanced campaigns in your AdWords account as this may result in them becoming incompatible with adCore.

In addition, Google recommend that you do not change existing AdWords campaigns to enhanced campaigns as the full functionality of the new campaigns will only be rolled out over the coming weeks.

Finally, in order to be compatible with adCore, any new campaigns you create in AdWords should be opened as ‘legacy campaigns’. The screenshot below shows how to change a new AdWords Campaign to this format.
